DARIUSZ CIERPIAŁ was born in Częstochowa in 1975. Historian by profession. In 2004 he graduated the Photography Studies at the Cracow Technical University Institute of History of Architecture and Monuments Conservation. Since 2005 he is a member of the Polish Republic's Photoclub, Association of Authors. His photographs were presented at individual and collective exhibitions, in Czestochowa, Cracow, Warsaw and in several small cities. Honored in the competition 'Photographer of the Year 2005' of the Polish Republic's Photoclub. In 2006 got the title 'Photographer of the Year 2006' in the same competition. He charitably cooperated with the Nursing & Caring Association 'With Trust in the Third Millenium' and with the biggest internet encyclopedia - Wikipedia. His photographs 'Life' were published in the American Curio Magazine, in press (Gazeta Wyborcza, Zycie Czestochowskie, 3 Aleje), as well as in the folder 'Dariusz Cierpial - Street' published by the Municipal Art Gallery in Czestochowa. Staged photographs were published in a photographs catalog of the Jurasic Section of the Polish Republic's Photoclub in August 2006, in the folder 'Dariusz Cierpial Photographs 2006' and in folder 'Stars' and folder 'Winter impressions' from the collective exhibition of Februrary 2007. His newest publication is the catalogue '5 years with photography' from the collective exhibition of August 2007.-----------------------------------------
